I started Katy Web Co. because too many home-service pros around Katy and Houston were getting overcharged for slow, cookie-cutter websites that never brought in a single job. Big agencies hand you off to a junior team and a ticket queue; cheap template mills hand you a site that looks like everyone else's. I do the opposite: I build fast, mobile-first sites designed around one thing — turning a phone search into a booked job — and I stay your direct point of contact after launch.

What working with one local person is like
The honest version — how a solo studio compares to a big agency or a template mill.
Hire a big agency and your project usually gets handed to a rotating cast — a salesperson who signs you, a project manager who relays messages, and a junior building the actual pages. You explain the same thing three times and wait on a ticket queue for a small change. Go the cheap route and a template mill hands you the same drag-and-drop layout thousands of other businesses already have, with your logo dropped on top and nobody who really knows your business.
With me, there's one person on the whole thing. You get a direct line — when you text, you reach me, not a front desk. Your site is built and written by hand for your business and your town, not stamped out of a template. And you own what you pay for: the site, the domain, the accounts. If we ever part ways, you keep everything and walk out the door with it.

Yes. There's no account manager, sales team, or call center in between. The person who builds your site is the person who answers your texts and sends your monthly report — every time, before and long after launch.
How fast do you respond?+
Fast. Because it's just me and a limited roster, texts and emails usually get a same-day reply during the work week. If you need a change, it gets handled directly — no ticket queue, no waiting on a junior team.
Do you only work with the trades, or any local business?+
Any local business. HVAC, roofing, plumbing, landscaping and the other trades are just where I do a lot of work, but the same approach fits salons, clinics, shops, restaurants, and service businesses of every kind. What happens after the site launches?+
I stay your point of contact. A simple monthly plan covers hosting, care, small edits, and a plain-English report so you can see what the site is doing. When something needs changing, you text me and it gets changed — no runaround.
