Quotes, proposals, and services

Information on the Site is for general information and is not a binding offer. Any quote or proposal we provide is an estimate based on the details you share; the scope, price, and timeline of a project are set out in a separate agreement or written confirmation between you and Katy Web Co. Submitting a form does not create a contract or obligate either of us to proceed.

Text Messaging Terms

These terms apply to text messages (SMS/MMS) sent by Katy Web Co., a web-design and online-marketing business based in Katy, Texas.

If you provide your mobile number and check our text-message consent box, you agree to receive text messages from Katy Web Co. related to your inquiry and, if you become a client, your work with us. These may include:

• Project updates
• Appointment scheduling and reminders
• Invoices and payment reminders
• Support replies and answers to your questions

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

To opt out, reply STOP to any of our text messages at any time and we will stop sending them. For help, reply HELP or contact us at mike@katywebco.com or 832-633-2085.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of text messages depends on your carrier's network and your device, and we cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered or delivered on time.

How we handle mobile numbers and SMS consent information is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with any third party for marketing purposes.

Payments

Fees, billing terms, and any recurring charges for services are set out in your project agreement or plan. Invoices are payable as stated there. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we don't see or store full card numbers.

Cancellations and refunds

Website build fees. If you cancel before design work on your website begins, we'll refund your build fee in full. Once design work has started, the build fee is non-refundable.

Monthly plans. You can cancel a monthly plan at any time by sending us written notice by email or text. Your service continues through the end of the month you've already paid for, and your plan won't renew after that. We don't give refunds for partial months. If your quote or agreement includes a minimum term, that minimum term still applies.

Questions about a charge. If you have a question or concern about any charge, please contact us first at mike@katywebco.com or 832-633-2085. We reply within one business day and will work with you directly to resolve it.

Approved refunds go back to the card or account you paid with. Your bank may take 5 to 10 business days to show the refund.

Intellectual property

The Site's design, text, and graphics are owned by Katy Web Co. or used with permission. Work we deliver to a client is governed by that client's agreement — as a rule, once a project is paid in full, you own your website content and your domain, as described when we start.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee specific search rankings, lead volumes, or business results — anyone who guarantees a Google ranking is not being straight with you. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Katy Web Co. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
